Car Club Showcase
This is a meeting on the last Sunday of each month where you can see classic, vintage and modern cars.
Laneways Tour
This is wonderful tour through the amazing and varied laneways of inner Melbourne. It starts in Federation Square and the cost includes lunch, drinks and some yummy chocolates. The tour is held every day.
Photography night walks
Explore Melbourne at night to find some great photo opportunities. This is held every Thursday and locations are chosen for each night and you will learn about night photography as well. The walks start in Federation Square.
Old Melbourne Ghost Tour
This is an exciting tour of the Melbourne of old with its opium dens, poor houses and opera house. This tour is on Thursday to Sunday nights starting at 8:30pm, 10:00pm, 10:30pm and midnight.
Federation Square Guided tour
This tour is held Monday to Saturday at 11am and noon and shows you the wonders of the square, the history of the site and what lies beneath the sandstone paving.
Melbourne Town Hall tour
See the southern hemispheres largest grand romantic organ, stand where The Beatles waved to screaming fans or sit in the Lord Mayor’s chair. Learn about the 19th century architecture and the politics when it was built.
Treasure Hunt at the Chinese Museum
This is great fun for the kids as they work their way through the museum on a treasure hunt and learn about the museum as they go. Each child gets a surprise on completing the hunt. Held every day at 10am and 5pm in Cohen Place, Melbourne.
Trams: Moving Pictures
This is at the Old Treasury Building and is a collection of paintings of the trams used in Melbourne commissioned from a variety of artists including Clifton Pugh, Mirka Mora, Jeffrey Maker and the band Mental As Anything.
Herbarium Discovery Walk
This is at the Royal Botanic Gardens and is a wonderful way to learn about our native plants with a huge collection of preserved plants and wonderful fungi.
Art tours
This is great tour of some of Melbourne’s smallest and hidden away art galleries with collections of paintings and sculpture. The tour starts in federation square.
Bicycle tours
This great cycle tour is held every day except Mondays at 2pm and 4:30pm. Enjoy a cycle along the Yarra River, have a coffee before cycling back to the start.
Aboriginal Heritage Walk
This fantastic walk is held in the Royal Botanic Gardens every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 11am and 12:30pm. Learn about the Kulin Nation, see a traditional smoking ceremony and learn about native plants that are used for medicinal purposes.
Laneways and Arcade Walking Tour
This tour is on everyday of the week and starts in federation Square and takes you through the hidden laneways and arcades that Melbourne unique.
Heart of Melbourne Walking tour
This tour starts at the State Library and shows you the historic buildings and cultural and architectural treasures of this amazing city.
Harbour Walking Tour
Explore the waterfront, Docklands and all of the attractions of one of Melbourne’s most modern areas. The tour leaves from Federation Square twice a day at 11am and 1:30pm.
